Went with Trafalgar group tour for Portuguese dinner and music. Was happy with the green salad, bean soup but extremely dissappointed with the main of fish dish which was a fish pie which tasted of frozen fish and was also disappointed with the dessert of passionfruit mousse. Expected fresh fish in Portugal which I kept hearing in the tour.

During a trip to Fatima I asked the guide for a good fado restaurant in Lisbon and he suggested me Cafè Luso. The food was good, but the five singers alternating with the three musicien made the evening exellent: I have suggested to go there to oter people in town the day after

For one summer I was a driver on a bus tour that took tourists to a restaurant in New Orleans east and then on to entertainment. The Café Luso does both, although I doubt that there are dropoffs from tour buses. On recommendation of the staff at Tryp Hotel Airport in Lisbon, I took a taxi to Café Luso. The... More

Very relaxed atmosphere, amazing food, great singers, Luso is basically everything you need for a perfect fado night in Lisbon. The place itself resembles medieval atmosphere of Lisbon's Bairro Alto. Recommended!!!

You really can't swing a cat in Lisbon without hitting at least 4 restaurants with live Fado, so there is plenty to choose from, and you'd expect a degree of healthy competition. Cafe Luso has a friendly manager, tasteful decor, and the minimum charge is a reasonable €17. The musicians and singers on the night we were there were excellent,... More

I didn't think I would love Fado music so much. We read good reviews about Luso so we made a reservation here.
