Visited here on a whim and wasn't disappointed . Our waiter had an excellent knowledge of the type of steaks available and which would be best depending on our preference . Great atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a good steak in Lisbon .

Friendly and fast-paced, delicious selection of meats, fun energetic atmosphere. Salad bar needs some more thought. Staff are excellent - very attentive.

I found this restaurant while strolling looking for a moderately priced restaurant near our hotel. It was in the shadow of the Hard Rock Cafe. Service was fast and good. Garlic Naan was really good. Butter chicken was food, rice was ok.

Two diners, both had different curries with rice ( they looked liked tomato soup) The service was terrible. Seeing as we were the only 2 here , the service was so slow !! It might have been reasonably priced but at what real cost - after eating this meal I was violently sick ( I have eaten in many restaurants... More

It was raining, Hard Rock was packed and we were starving. A guy on the corn or handed us a flyer and pointed down a side street so we gave it a try. As the other reviews say, the service was fast, abundant food that was quite good and very reasonable prices. Italian and Indian may sound like a strange... More

Stopped in during rain shower for dinner. Had lamb in spinach, chicken in cream and fruit with rice and naan. What a treat. 6euro for a bottle of the house red. Excellent meal for under 30euro.

My husband *hates* Indian food, so when we found an Indian-Italian restaurant, we were both thrilled. We ate here after a long day of trekking around Sintra. The service was great and the food was even better. Serving sizes were huge for Indian options as well as Italian ones. They had outdoor tables, but it looked like it might rain,... More

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
