We shared a delicious vegetarian pizza but the sushi at the neighbouring table looked even more inviting! The staff were friendly and attentive. Good value for the location.

I always like restaurants with open kitchen because they are mostly good. Este Oeste was not exception. The staff, mostly young people, was quick and friendly. They all speak fluent English and very attentive. They let us try two different kinds of red wine and Burrata (which we did order). The menu is a mixture of many different cuisines and... More

Went here for a quick lunch. Since it was rainy outside the indoor restaurant was packed and quite noisy. Quick service, sushi and sashimi well prepared. Good place for a sightseeing break.

Really nice place with a cool interior, large fun Japanese/Italian Menu. The food was also excellent french creamy salmon, fresh sushi and the Pizza's also looked great although we didn't have one. All reasonably priced too. good service and the wines seem to come from the art collectors winers which we visited the day before.

Restaurant inside the Centro Cultural de Belem, with a nice decoration inside and a terrace with a very nice view on the Tejo river. The menu includes pizzas, sushi and then a mix up of flavors ...which I do no longer appreciate as much as when the restaurant opened. The service is sometimes a bit hectic...

Although the staff where rushed off their feet in this extremely busy restaurant they were attentive and filled our needs adequately and professionally. The food was good, nothing special, the wine and ginger ice cream though were divine! The atmosphere was lovely as we sat on the terrace outside in the warm December sun. I'd recommend for a light liquid... More

The staff is friendly, and the service is quite good. Is not too expensive, but is on average for the area. It's possible to choose between italian and japanese dishes, the ingredients have very good quality. The outside tables are great when the weather permits.

Staying in Belem

Neighbourhood Profile
Belem
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
