Best pasteis de nata in Lisbon! We tried a lot of places – also the historic Pasteis de Belem – but we have to say that this place beats them all. No other pastries, just the pasteis de nata. Well worth it.

The bakery does one things only - Portuguese tarts. They are fantastic fresh out of the oven. Simply a wonderful option for breakfast. There are always a few people waiting for the store to open. Coffee is also available.

We though these were the best pastel de nata that we tried while in Lisbon. There wasn't a huge line like the famous location in Belem.

The best custard tarts (Natas) in Lisbon we had on our trip (and we had lots) although there always a queue it’s only take a couple of minutes to get served and at only €1 each there were incredibly fresh and delicious

We stayed in Lisbon for a week and in that time tried many pastel de natas in many different places. Manteigaria is the best. It is located right off the Praca Luis de Camoes square. They ring a bell when hot ones come out of...More
