Bonsai serves genuine authentic Japanese food unlike all the overrated fusion Japanese out there. Reservation is recommended and this place will not let you down. Staffs and chefs are extremely friendly and I always had a good time eating there.

Great value for money with lunch menus. A quiet environment with careful prepared dishes for the regular and ocasional costumers. A slightly used ambience gives it genuity 15 euros for a high quality meal without the fuzz of the neighborhood is definitely a place to return.

In a city full of sushi restaurants at every corner, Bonsai comes as a really great surprise. On the outside it doesn't look like much, but on the inside you're greeted with a really nice place with typical japanese decoration and really nice staff. The menu is not budget friendly but the lunch week-day options are at a reasonable price.... More

We came here because of the good ratings for lunch. After arriving a cook told us they are close for lunch since a few weeks. Their chef has had an accident. I'm sorry for the chef. But please change your opening hours on facebook and on your homepage!!!! We came here by taxi!!!!

Food was ok, not the best Japanese food you can ever have. But it took 55 minutes to have our order on the table. And the appetizer came after serving 3 main courses!

I went there with a friend of mine that is also a japanese food lover like me. The interior looks quite authentic and a soft music on a background makes an atmosphere but the light is so bright that all of a sudden the feeling of coziness disappears. We took oysters as starters and they had quite strong taste because... More

Food is very good, service friendly and at decoration is simple. Some improvements for the speed and for the climatization since the full dinner has been with strong air conditioning which didn't allow enjoy the full experience. But again, with proper warm clothes the food is really really good. One suggestion is when you make the reservation try to get the... More

I live in London. There is no sushi that's good in London. It blew my mind. Get the mixed sashimi. If you're feeling greedy, the sushi/ sashimi combo. Not cheap but top notch.
