Our guide suggested this place, but we were slightly disappointed. They kept us waiting more than half an hour for the food pretending they were preparing it, but once we went downstairs to pay, we saw that the most part of them was ready and exposed. The rest was a salad of tomate and lettuce and #2 toasted breads with... More

The aperitifs tast like canned food and not fresh at all. Soft drink was warm. Employees arguing and screaming with each other. I'd strong recommend to avoid this restaurant. Save your time and money, go to a real restaurant.

I wouldn't go to this place again. I ordered the fish of the day and it came full of blood inside :( it was not properly cleaned. Disgusting!

Not directly visible to the visitor the place is slightly hidden in a small street with nice tables outside. We came from the backside - so we missed the waiter luring passers by into the place - we'd have skipped it then. We just wanted (and had) a bottle of wine, some olives (really good if you like garlic), bread... More

Not bad location in square in Sintra, although lots of traffic but pretty interesting. Ordered drinks and pizza to share. Took about 30 minutes to arrive! ok, bit overdone. Ordered another drink, they forgot so had to chase up

Went here with my husband to hear Fado music. We were told when going to hear good Fado music not to go for the food and I would say that is true. The music was excellent and it is a very intimate restaurant. You will probably need a reservation; the music starts around 9 and I would go somewhere first... More

Location was good. That's it. The food was nothing out of the ordinary and highly overpriced compared to other restaurants and it took about 50 min to get 4 tapas. The octopus (main course) we ordered was overcooked and the waitress said that it was "the way they cook it": the tenticles were so burned that they tasted like nothing.... More

We had the most amazing fish platter ever! Delicious is not a sufficient word to describe the food here! We stayed outside on the narrow street getting the vibe of the old town. A very pleasant experience! We will always come back! Compliments to the chef!

Four of us had lunch at this restaurant, inside rather than in the courtyard. Both areas were pleasant and airy - and quiet because it is located on a pedestrianised alleyway off the main street. A few smokers outside if that worries you. It was all good without being outstanding; the service was a little hesitant at times but that... More

we came here late at night to listen to fado - it's a tiny little bar with very little sitting room, and they have fado later at night. SO worth it - the night we were there, the world famous Fado singer, Mariza, made a special appearance and sang. It was hauntingly beautiful, and definitely a treat, as the locals... More
