This was one of my favourite meals I had in Lisbon/Sintra. I had a late lunch there, eating outside on the terrace, and it was lovely. It was very peaceful then, and the food was great quality, the service excellent, and I thought the price was quite reasonable. I had the special, which was grilled cuttlefish with crushed potatoes, then... More

Very friendly staff and very good food. Located at the center of Sintra, very easy to find. Good choice of wines and deserts were fabulous! High chair for children but no changing diaper room. That's was the only con to this great place.

Lawrence's Hotel Restaurant is very easy to find, just at the center of Sintra, and it is located in an amazing hotel with lots of history that worth a visit. The restaurant is very good, with nice options and a friendly service. Not being cheap, you pay for what you get.

This grand yet approachable and friendly hotel / restaurant has a romantic history of literary associations - and really good food, wine and service. Its décor is opulent yet stylish and there are lovely little balconies for romantic sharing of the stunning views of beautiful Sintra, with its medieval and 18th-19th-century 'Gothic' villas and pleasure gardens. A delight.

Sintra is very busy but this hotel a short walk from the centre is an oasis of peace. Went here for a drink here you could sit in the lovely lounges and later for a meal.

Stop for a codfish lunch after a long visit to the Mason's playground the Quinta da Regaleira. Formal environment at a good price. It's worth for the history of the place

When in Sintra we chose this restaurant for lunch due to it’s fascinating, centuries long, history. When we arrived, the restaurant was rather empty, probably due that it was already quite late in the afternoon. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy and nice, like I hoped it would be, and the food was tasty and well made. The... More

The building and decor look a little tired and in need of a coat of paint but it gives it a natural charm especially in view of its history. We have a look round the 'rabbit warren' of rooms all with different names - a charming place well worth a visit
