In here you can a decent contemporary meal, with lots of options available for your dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, normal...) Also a great alt music venue and and art gallery and so many other things. It's also on the fourth floor of a parking lot building. Open since at least 2001 it has become a staple in Porto's culture and... More

Very good vegetarian food at this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly service and reasonable prices. We had a lunch of a starter (hummus), veg soup, and choice of three veg mains, plus coffee for 8Euro. Food was very good. A bit hard to find. Across from the Coliseum, access is adjacent to a parking garage. Take the elevator up.

We visited Maus Habitos at night. It was complete with birthday and a great ambient. We take some food and cocktails, which were delicious. After the food came the DJ. We were really comfortable and the service was excellent. The next day we had lunch and our idea even improved.

A classic in Porto's nightlife. Awesome gigs and dj sets every weekend, it is the right spot if you're looking for non-commercial music and a good night out.

A very unique atmosphere, different rooms and tables to suit any mood. We sat in the terrace for a while and there was a DJ playing too. Kitchen open til late. The pizza was surprisingly really good. Would definitely go back.

I was in Porto for the weekend, and I ended up going every single day there. This place has an amazing atmosphere, unique style. Eating there is a bit pricy, specially for Porto, but if you can afford it, I can tell you they are not kidding when they say they have the best pizza in town.

We went to this place due to the recommendations of this webpage. The staff is slow and without experience, it is clear that is more a cultural center than a restaurant. We tried pizza and lasagna, both were ok, nothing special. 14€ per person aprox.

A surprisingly different eating place, with unique ambience and original dishes, hidden in the fourth floor above a garage, just where you wouldn't expect it to be. We had two delicious pizzas, claimed by locals to be one of the best in Porto and definitely agreeing with our humble (yet sophisticated) taste. Come at 20:00 when the kitchen opens, before... More

After testing a range of Portuguese cuisine, traditional and modern, our teenage son requested pizza for our last night on holiday. Maus Habitos was the perfect choice - unusual location, central, great views, friendly staff, veggie options for picky daughter and laid back atmosphere. Oh, and a diverse range of pizzas, too. We had a happy time, altho it is... More

It’s a hidden spot, at the 4th floor, above a parking lot. If you don’t pay attention to the outdoor sign, it’s a big chance you’ll miss it. It’s a cool place with a lot of energy, and very good vibe. You can have a cigar on the terrace, or you can visit the art exhibitions from the other rooms.... More

Description
Lunch or dinner at Maus Habitos is a relaxing and casual break on your working day.The living room is wide and plain of light. It has an amazing view over Porto's historical centre. The hanging basket patio is cosy, fresh and full of colour.

Our pizza dough is crunchy and thin, daily prepared with bio flour, extra virgin olive oil and salt from the Himalayas.
Daniel locally picks the best and freshest products with care and pain to do his recipes and toppings.
Several cheeses are grated every day. He does his own ricotta and te aromatic olive oils as well.

Maus Habitos is a space of cultural and artistic intervention who shelters all forms of contemporary creation.
Since 2001 that we enable the necessary conditions for artistic residences (visual arts, music, dance, video art, performative). We also assure the media coverage and public visibility for these art projects.
So, dinning and joining us, is a direct form of supporting art, artists and their work.

Bonne apetit
