The local is little and pretty, and remembers everybody's kitchen. You feel at home. There is not much choice (you can choose among 5 "plato do dias"), but the quality is high and the price really affordable (the lowest paid in 7 days between porto and lisbon, for one of the best meals we had). The staff, that is like... More

Was tipped off to this by a couple at another restaurant, and knew immediately we had to go. 3 course meal for an astounding price, quickly served, genuinely delicious. If you eat one place in Porto, this is the place for an experience to remember.

The best sardines we have had in our 6 weeks in Europe. No coincidence that nearly everyone that came in ordered sardines too. Good soup to start, great sardines and a choice of 3 desserts to follow. Coffee and a bread included for 6 Euro, fantastic value and really good food. Even the cask wine was good, not to mention... More

Small café family style. VERY cheap. 3 courses lunch less than 9 € p/p. Good food. Pork, fish and house wine were delicious. Cozy atmosphere. Pretty busy at lunch.

By coincidence we were passing in the street. The price of 4.60 eur for vegetable soup + Dish of the day + bread + desert + coffee let us suspiscious at first. But after a look inside, and seeing that the place was full, we decided to give it a try. We sat at the only free table, and wait 5... More

We chose this place from the reviews and were not disappointed. The cooking is very simple and tasty but beware of the size of the portions!

Thanks to the previous reviewers otherwise I would have easily missed this place. There is a fix menu with few choices. You can immediately see this is authentic cuisine as it's full of locals. The owner is very kind and the service is super fast. Recommended for a taste of the real Portugal off the beaten tourist path.

We ate here a few times while in Porto, brilliant! We were advised to eat here by a local and he was spot on. The basic meal, 3 courses is 4.50 euros, unbelievable. If you were served rubbish or not much of it, you'd say you got what you paid for. BUT, this is an excellent meal, soup followed by... More
