This is a cute place by Clerigos Tower. They appear to be really understaffed or just slow. I waited over 30 minutes before the waitress even approached me. This includes my telling her I was sitting outside and when she didn't show up, I ended up moving inside but still I waited. I was actually really excited that I found... More

We thank you for your comment and we are sorry you had to wait to long to be served. This is an area we are trying to improve, but sometimes its not easy, specially on very busy days. We are also sorry you couldn´t try our bacalhau com natas, because its our costumers favorite. and being so, its usually one... More

This is a turistic place, not traditional as they say, the idea is not bad, they have different little options, like tapas. However at the end is not that cheap (if you compare it with other places around) and in my case, i tried the cod fritters, but they let them on top of the table for several of minutes... More

We thank you for your comment, but we must say we take pride in serving traditional portuguese food, to all our costumers, whether they are local or tourist. But we do enjoy having people form other countries visiting us and tasting our traditional flavours, that we think are at a fair price. More

Close to the (very strange) photographic museum this little tapas bar provided somewhere to regroup. The lack of menu (it is written on the front window) was mildly irritating, but the food was absolutely wonderful and generous in size. Fish and cheese pie and the slow-cooked pork were first rate. A couple of beers and a bill for under 20... More

We stumbled across this place and were so happy we did. The menu offers lots of local tidbits, so we got to taste many things rather than one central dish. I love to eat this way, particularly when discovering a new cuisine. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful. When we mentioned that some of us were vegetarian and... More

Cosy place, great service & delicious and simple petiscos! Honest prices. You are welcomed with some vegetable snacks, then you get some cheese and ham and finally you can taste a selection of traditional snacks. Plus good wine ;) Very friendly, casual atmosphere and nice location.

Good service with the staff always ready to help you. Codfish good. It would be better to drink wine in bottle, because that one in jug is not good. Expensive considering we are in Portugal. Servizio buono con lo staff pronto ad aiutartti. Buono il baccalà. Prendete solo vino in bottiglia perché quello fuso non è buono (siamo a Porto).... More

Thanks for your feedback and for enjoying ours service and food. But we think there's was probably a misunderstanding, because we have currently 14 different wines by the bottle, from different portuguese regions. Considering our prices, each one of our tipically portuguese petiscos have a price of 3,5€, which we think, as most of our costumers, that its fair. We... More

A small but welcoming and cozy restaurant offering a large choice of "petiscos". We enjoyed the suggestions made by the waiter, things we certainly wouldn't order ourselves. We had some really good codfish cakes, a delicious codfish gratin with rice and a green bean salad with an excellent seasoning. I would definitely recommend this place for people who'd like to... After a long day of walking/sightseeing, I needed to eat and grab a drink. I was drawn to the warm and simple entrance and was immediately greeted and seated by the waiter. He was very kind and quickly suggested some appetizers and dishes. Service was great, food even better. I had the cenourinhas (carrots) and termoços (lupini beans) to start... More
