Pork only tastes that nice when it's Christmas and your nana cooks it. The cheese they have there is just so delicious. Omg. Cheap and tasty. Awesome. And the chips are fresh real cut potatoes! It was just yummy!!!!

The pork roll at Casa Guedes was so good we came back for seconds! We had the pork roll with sheep cheese the first time (the cheese is strong) and mixed meat selection the second time, great value too

OMG! The sande the pernil com queijo (#8) is out of this world. The bread is just the perfect compliment to the succulent pieces of roasted pork and the slab of cheese. This place is the very essence of Porto, where workers meet executives and tourists. It's amazing to see how the food here pleases everyone - and it is obvious why when you taste it! Ask for a sandes de pernil with queijo da serra! And a beer, obviously.

This place is phenomenal. Small, unambitious place, yet locals queue out the door (literally!) for it.
