Amazing people, really friendly, smiley, and very chatty and helpful. Amazing food as well, we had some young lamb and it was melting in the mouth. Fado was pretty nice, the atmosphere created was pretty exceptional. An evening well spent.

Typical Portuguese restaurant , lovely decor, excellent service and really amazing Fado. Wish the choice in food could be more varied, generous helpings but nothing to brag about. More expensive than average, but they had 3 fado singers which where excellent and so where the two guys playing the guitars. A very enjoyable evening and highly recommended

As other reviews have said, the reason for choosing this place is the fado, which is really excellent, rather than the food, which, though generously portioned and perfectly edible, is less exceptional. Service is charming. Yes, it's not the cheapest place in town, especially if you dine a la carte, but you're paying for a concert by skilled musicians and... More

Really great evening. The best fado we have ever experienced. Good singers and musicians. We of course bought their records. We had the "Tourist menu" - good value for the money. Great salmon. The waiters were funny and attentive. Cozy atmosphere. Two elderly ladies could not stop talking during the fado but was silenced by the staff after several warnings-... More

Wonderful service, together with a wide variety of delicious dishes of the Portuguese gastronomy. Listening to Fado in such an environment feels amazing, thanks to the emotions that the singers are able to bring out of out hearts... What a lovely experience!

A highlight of our Porto visit. The musicians were excellent, wonderful atmosphere with patrons singing along. Excellent service, waiters able to speak several languages. Good food and wine. Thank you TripAdvisor for the recommendation, this was a memorable evening.

The fado experience was fantastic! Good quality singers - one woman and one man- both passionate and moving. They both sang two sets each. The food was good, not the best but not the worse either. A bit pricy but I guess you kind of pay for the whole package.

Well it does exactly what the name suggests. Excellent fado music; solid if a bit expensive for the food though the cheese selection was fantastic. Portions are also huge so you don't need to over order. Yes, it is expensive if it were only the food but you are paying for the food and the music. We arrived about 9... More

The two singers and guitarists were very pleasant, and it was an opportunity to hear Fado, so worthwhile in that respect. The food was expensive (for Porto), and rather ordinary. Still, it was an enjoyable evening.

Very tourist-oriented but worth a visit if you are keen on dinner with Fado music. Booked at tourist information centre opposite Sao Bento station. Price was 35 euros per person. 10 euro deposit. Balance payable after meal. Restaurant looks like any typical regional restaurant. Location wise close to Ribiera district. A slightly steep climb through back streets to the square... More
