beautiful view and we really enjoyed the sitting options they have where we could sit in nice chairs. Aperol spritz was good, white sangria as well. The waiter had bad temper in the beginning but than it was ok

Most of the restaurants in this area are food with drink and we were just looking for somewhere to share a bottle of wine and perhaps some snacks Contemporary setting made out of a shipping container with both indoor and outdoor seating - low sofa type seating and high stool-benches Wine list was good and snacks tasty Watch their seagulls... Great place to stop for a drink and Porto style Tapas. Service was good and if they are full, ask the staff and they will try to reserve the next table to move/clear for you. Took us 20 mins. They have high bench/tables, normal level dining and also relaxed tables. Very easy and relaxing. Interesting toilet cubicles... with glass roof.... More

Despite an amazing location, avoid this place! The service is so slow but worse still, the staff are downright rude!! Also €12 for two glasses of red wine is bottally overpriced in Portugal! Porto is such a great city, don't ruin it by going to this place

I completely support the bad ratings of this place. Can't recommend anyone to go there. The waitress Isabel is a harsh lady. Stay away from her! However, a nice place for enjoying the sun in the late afternoon.

Riverside bar and restaurant which could be nice but very few people get an opportunity to find out as service is appalling. Save yourself the bother and go somewhere else. Counted 21 people without drinks this evening as we strolled past. Waited 25 minutes for service last night.

Normally restaurants with good locations are crap, but this one was a pleasant surprise! The grilled octopus was maybe the best one we ever had!

All we ordered was soup, olives, French fries (no sauce), and a glass of port. The olives came first, no problem very nice, then the port, the soup tool ages and was nearly cold and no sign of French fries. Eventually I asked our guy after trying to get his attention for some time (he was busy chatting with other... More

The Cafe do Cais is well located directly at the river Douro. Smooth music and tasty drinks. But there a some disadvantages. The food isn't that good and the staff is extremely overwhelmed. We had to wait ages for service. First we waited 10 minutes to order and than an endless amount of time for our drinks and food. Prices... More
