Enjoyed our evening meal here. The waiter was friendly and food reasonably priced. Very welcoming. My sardines were superb.

No expectations when we got in, but at the end the bacalhao a Braz was excellent. Arroz de bacalhao com bacalhao frito was average.

I have been here several times while visiting Porto. The polvo a lagareiro is delicious! My boyfriend had the francesinha which he enjoyed as well. There are a lot of tourist traps around this area, but this is not one of them. The food was great, the service was attentive and friendly, and prices are reasonable. I will definitely come... More

You come across this place and figure it's a good of a place as any to have a meal. There are a few tables outside which are inviting if the weather's good, and prices are surprisingly low for Ribeira standards. But you soon figure out why. The service is terrible - waiters don't talk, they just nod and frown like... More

We had no special intention or expectations of this little restaurant. Were pleasantly surprised by a friendly service and a homely tasty late lunch well prepared; one portion of octopus and one of stuffed squids, each served with potatoes and a small salad. and a glass of green white wine for a fair price.

We have just had the worst meal ever at this so called restaurant! The meals took ages to come and one was forgotten about. We went to find out where it had got to after everyone else had finished theirs and found it wasn't even being cooked! (The meals we did get were mostly awful and we left most of... More

Horrible food experience, fish was awful, during our dinner two Portuguese tables left in rage and refused to eat the food. We had too many items on our bill. It's a total tourist trap.

We passed this restaurant several times and it was always busy, with many locals, which we took as a good sign. The riverside was busy and we managed to get a table - we so wished we hadn't got one. This is only getting one star because it is not possible to give it zero. It truly is one of... More

They trie to pull money out of your pocket (probably only when you are a tourist) by serving you an apperative you did not ask for which will cost you more than whatever maincourse you would order. Soup half cold and the coffee undrinkable. Do not go here.
