I took the recommendation of my walking tour guide to try Tripas a moda do Porto at this little cafe next to the train station. It is a hearty meal with good flavours. The tripes are cooked perfectly which is very tender. Although the owners don't speak much English, they are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my lunch... More

Beautiful interior and better priced than Cafe Majestic where we paid a lot more for coffee and a sweet.

As I read the reviews about this place I had high expectations; however, I walked in and, aside from the places rich history, it looks just like another local cafeteria; I didn't try the coffee, just some of the food that was shown on the counter and thought it was average; if you happen to be in the area walking... Portimao. Cafe Brasil old town; local down to earth. Examples: sandwich from €2.5 toasted €3.5; fresh chicken not meat pack, tuna, choritzo; includes salad with lettuce, tomato and egg. Range of meals: fresh fish by weight, salads etc tea €1.25 per person; tea pot and milk jug; 5 cups quota. Coffee €2. Service time <20 min.

In a beautiful, art-nouveau building which served for brasillian coffee business it is a pretty cafeteria where you can relax and enjoy good coffee,sweets and music.

The meal was great, excellente and very nice chef. Very nice food, and a great environment, the stuff was very nice, and the food / tapas that we eat were great, Oporto Chitterlings , tipical food of Oporto City.
