We visited this restaurant as part of a family holiday in Porto. The francesinha was probably the best sandwich I've tasted in my life. Totally delicious. And the fact I am pregnant and cant eat cured meat was easily accommodated, which I appreciated. However, beyond...the great food, what really stood out for me during this visit was the exceptional care shown towards my 2 year old son by an amazing waiter called Tiago. From the moment we arrived, he made sure my son was happy and had everything he could wish for! From colouring pencils, to bringing a small plate of chips out quickly so my son wouldn't have to wait for food... And even playing 'boo' with him while he worked. There was so much care and consideration. Of course, if my toddler is happy and has a positive experience, then his parents get to have a positive experience too! It's very significant for the overall experience of adults traveling with children, yet so many restaurants overlook this. Tiago is exceptional and I hope his management know what a great asset he is to the company.More
