Once again, as so many times before, I had a take away if Sushi and Sashimi of Wish. Thought I ordered for close to their opening time, the take away was finished at agreed time. Even being a foody and lover of “haute cuisine”, the...quality and taste of today’s Sushi and Sashimi was again excellent 😀. This, and the allways friendly and good service make Wish to one of my “must go” places, every time I am in Porto.More

I've been to quite a few sushi restaurants recently in Foz, Matosinhos and Leca da Palmeira, and this one has been the best of the lot. We found the interior cosy and not overly lit, the service friendly and never overbearing, and the sushi very...fresh and good value. We also found the restaurant, and the bathrooms, exceptionally clean. This place, right now, is my first choice in this area for sushi.More

We sat outside in a small pretty square opposite a church. We had a mixed sushi platter and ordered extra bits of things we especially liked and the waiter recommended as we went along. The sushi is all freshly made and was good value for...the amount of fish we had. My daughter has some dietary needs and the chef prepared her something special of menu which was very kind and appreciated. The desserts are fantastic, with lots of options. We had the chocolate fondant which was cooked perfectly and a creamy pudding which came with a cheese ice-cream - strange but delicious! The service was excellent, friendly and attentive but not intrusive. He waiter packaged up our leftovers and even added chopsticks and bottled soy sauce which was a nice touch. Highly recommendedMore

Overpriced pseudo-sushi portuguesed and ruined. The decor is strange beige and meaningless. Panama hats. Brown glass bottles. Conveying a sense of directionless and unimaginativeness like the menu itself. As authentic as a Portuguese coastal “Japanese” sushi cafe all you can eat for €10. Alarm bells...ringing being served olives and bread when first sitting down. An online qr code accessed menu with no photos to accompany the poorly written English version of the menu which you can only see on yr smartphone screen. 2 main sections : 1. Sushi 2. Mediterranean. (Aka Portuguese). None of the dishes are remotely authentic Japanese. Ceviche big chunks of fish not thin slices. Using cream cheese in some items-yuk. And massively overpriced for what you get. Don’t bother coming here if you want Japanese or something creative and innovative. Most of the people on the adjacent table orders steak and chips! That just about sums it up.More
