We choose this place among the many small restaurants on that street because of the fresh interior but got rewarded with really good food and quiet and kind service. We've tried different vegetarian dishes and some local wine and ouzo. Eventually we were even offered a big slice of watermelon! I think the best place for our stay in Athens.

We explored the area, that was suggested by a local, and we were so happy to find this nice taverna in a very enjoyable street, far from the touristic usual spots! Panos (the owner), his collaborators and his friends were really kind and made us feel part of their greek family! Great food with fresh ingredients, everything home made...it was... More

This cosy spot on Troon street is wonderful in both summer and winter. There are very few tables outside and more options for bigger parties inside. The mezes are delicious and in rather large helpings. Service is also very good. A note to the hard core non-smokers there is smoking inside too so suggest an outdoor table if it bothers... More

History Lesson!! "Pleiades", companions of Artemis, were the seven daughters of the titan Atlas and the sea-nymph Pleione born on Mount Cyllene. They are the sisters of Calypso, Hyas, the Hyades, and the Hesperides. The Pleiades were nymphs in the train of Artemis, and together with the seven Hyades were called the Atlantides, Dodonides, or Nysiades, nursemaids and teachers to... More

Few days ago we went at Pleiades. We Ordered 5 dishes, and accept of the salad, everything else was right from the microwave and very bad Cooked. The worst of all was that in 2 of them we found hair. We told it to the waiter and he was very ironic. They asked as to pay for everything even so... More

We had a very nice lunch at this tavern, recommended by our hotel - as a local eatery. It is off the beaten-path so you will need a good map or an experienced taxi driver to find it. The food was fresh and very traditional. Ask about their assortment plate - we did not understand they had a variety plate.... More

In a caracteristic neighbourhood of Petralona, this small tavern creates a friendly atmosphere and offers an ideal way to relax and enjoy your food. It is a classic corner building in the center of the street with the ouzeries and small taverns of all kinds. For the summer, tables are set outside to help you get fresh air while having... More
