I can not understand the negative reviews for this place. Drafting beer is only 2,70 and gyros pita 2,60. The food was prepared within 5 minutes tasted delicious. We will go there again.

Place recomended to us by locals, ad the best souflaki in Athens. Good food, service on high level. Very huge, but best places are on Monastiriaki Square.

Big place in central Monastiraki; great atmosphere, touristy - sure but sometimes that's what you want. Lively, music inside, generous portions of very good food, good service. Everyone eating there seemed enjoy the place and the food. Busy but not too hectic when we were...More

Really enjoyed it, but felt crowded and rushed, it located in a busy area so you feel really packed in. The food was good, a little pricey compared to other places

This is the very definition of a tourist trap. We got our recommendation to another restaurant mixed up and went here instead. Bad mistake. The English menu has pictures that don’t actually resemble the food served. Service is off handed at best and food was...More

This is the kind of shakedown restaurant you find in every touristic center of European capitals, and even if you have had bad experiences you risk to get trapped again and again... old waiters lure you in, advertising “fresh food”... but only know a couple...More

We were just passing by and had some gyros for take away. The taste was nice and the service also. We did not try the rest of the dishes so i cannot comment on that.

Monastiraki is a souvenir-hunting enclave with a
difference. Apart from the dramatic backdrop of the
Acropolis, its network of alleys and pedestrianized
streets surround the remains of both the Greek and
Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is
where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the
tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki
Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street
