What is dinning after all? An experience of taste, sight and feeling. Vassilenas has it all in an expensive but worthy of money way! If you want a good dinner you can select this restaurant in the center of Athens. "Taramas" is the hit but...More

We ordered the charcoal grilled octopus and cabage dolma as appetizers. We found them both delicious, multidimensional, fresh, and well conceived. For mains we had the grilled brown grouper filet and the slow cooked lamb shank. Again, the did not fail to impress as the...More

This is a historic fish restaurant that had a recent revamp and we have enjoyed many fine meals here, often with international friends visiting. Very nice taramasalata, good fresh fish, and good service. Worth following recommendations of the day. Interesting innovative ideas but attention very...More

Professional service and nice surrounding (choose the upper deck). Cannot be compared with Michelin Resto's ,however a great dinner and value...More

Thank you very much for your review, Elizabeth! It doesn't matter that you posted it on the "Vassilenas" Restaurant account instead of the "1920" that you visited. "1920" is the new name of the restaurant hosted at the address where "Vassilenas" was located until it...More

A restaurant with excellent food, especially fish. The wine list is extensive with etiquette from small producers offered by a lovely lady sommelier. Good and friendly staff. I strongly recommend for business dinners.

Cozy restaurant, nice staff, good food. I had some kind of risotto (more like fregola) with seafood, which was very enjoyable. Highly recommended for business dinners.
