I ate in this restaurant twice. Food is delicious and fresh every day. Staff is polite. Portions are generous. The free wi-fi is a plus. Highly recommended

Met some friends at the airport and took them to their hotel near Omonia. About 11:00pm they wanted to eat and we found this place. As it was late, the menu was necessarily very limited. However the food they served was OK (I would have liked more garlic in the skordalia!) and the restaurant was clean. So - average overall.... More

As my title suggests this is one of the best meals I have had in Greece. All served quickly and tasting fresh and fantastic. However I found the restaurant a little lacking in both atmosphere and service. The service was attentive sure but standing 5 feet from the table and watching us the whole time was a little off putting

We were missing the Greek Salad so we both ordered it. It didn't disappoint and as the place is frequented by locals the prices were good. It is located in a shady side street away from surrounding street noise. Huge with professional grill setting so good for big paerties. Good and respectable service.

I visited here for two meals on a recent visit to Athens. The food is excellent and tasty, the service is good and the atmosphere is relaxed. Alot of locals also visit here giving it a real Greek feel.

The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and fast and it is great that it is possible to pay by card, which is a one in a million opportunity in Athens. 😊

I chose this restaurant primarily because of its location: close to the hotel, in a pedestrian street. It's funny that motorcycles and scooters do pass through. I chose a table outside, connected to good wifi and selected tzaziki and a salad. For sure, this stuff is delicious in Greece. The main dishes are mainly plates of grilled porc, chicken or... More

Choose from the many authentic Greek dishes that are on offer or order from the grill. Well presented restaurant with good service at an excellent price.

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
