Extremely good food, delicious combinations with healthy ingredients and tasty presentations. All dishes are well thought and created with innovation of new ways how to cook Greek food. Very good service and very pleasant environment. A must if you intend to eat downtown of Athens

Our group of 2 were recommended by a local to try this place. We arrived a bit early at 8pm, got a table upstairs, then it filled up by 8.30pm. Exterior looks like other places on that street, in that area, but the food places it ahead. Quality was excellent, from the goat cheese & fig salad (large enough for... More

I like walking around in a city, turning on a small street to find good places to eat. When I saw this place I had no hesitation; I got in. Nice atmosphere, nice and professional staff, cozy ambiance and varied menu. Salads were tempting and original, but I decided to try the black tagliatelli (pasta) with smoked rainbow trout. It... It's a shame. Nice restaurant, nice food, nice pace.. but the service was so bad. Hope the owner see this message and do something quickly, it's a shame.

Great food, interesting variety, and fresh ingredients. Great suggestion for anyone who wants to eat at the city centre at decent prices and taste interesting Greek dishes. I have taken many friends from abroad there and they were all very happy with the choice. Strongly recommended!!

Had a delicious meal with very friendly service. Wine, steak, and a shared appetizer for all under €50. Definitely recommend

Nice atmosphere inside and the food was really nice. Chicken burgers with pastrami are a must have. Lovely fried potatoes.Their pies (made with flaky pastry) with cheese and veg are very good too. I did enjoy their espresso coffee as well. If I ever visit Athens again, will go there for a lunch once more. The staff were friendly. Highly... More

This place used to be brilliant a couple of years ago. I recently returned and the quality has really dropped. Their beef railway dish, a glory of succulent meat in sweet pepper sauce, has become a big chunk of low grade meat in a mild sauce of little character. I wanted to give them another shot, so I returned a... More

Had a very nice lunch with a friend that took me there! Food was veru well in taste and nicely served. But the waitress was rude, bored to answer questions and should maybe try a different job than service! Will go there again and poste a new review if the service has changed!

Downtown, busy and small family restaurant, with a few tables outside. Fresh, local food with a twist, cooked with love and best quality ingredients. It is placed among cafes and bars, so it is the right place to feel the rythm of the city!

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
