The place has a fabulous view and that's what it's known for. However, the staff are un-attentive and the service is really poor. Breakfast buffet is good; but not overwhelming.

We were recommended to visit this place by a Greek. Really great view but the desserts we ordered were not very tasty. We expected more from the service.

It must be very nice to take a coffee with your best friend here, with this wonderful view to the Acropolis; friendly service, ambiance cosy; certainly we will like it !

I really liked that place. There you can see the whole Monastiraki from above. Great coctail though.

We went here for an aperitif prior to dinner at a nearby medzhe cafe venue (see my other review). Place was packed. Service was patchy and chaotic. Cocktails are good but nothing special. Prices are average to the area. Crowd is young and trendy. Rooftop terrace is dim lighted so hard to even see menu. View of Acropolis is great... More

Great place for coffee, cocktails and summer evenings on the open roof top, excellent salads and you cannot beat the best views of the Acropolis.

Incredible view of the Acropolis - no table on the roof misses out due to good design. Good service & an excellent cocktail menu that would please most critics of the bar industry. Fun music at night of different genres, not too loud for those concerned. Didn't try the food, but there was plenty on order. I would certainly recommend... More

There is no other place in Athens for a better panoramic view of Athens and Acropolis. I loved the cold chocolate and the fresh juices The seats are little tight but manageable Highly recommended place for everyone that loves to socialise

We stayed at this hotel. The continental breakfast that comes with your stay is the best in town. Everything is beyond fresh. Love the fresh orange and peach juice. Yogurt with all the toppings, breads, pastries, eggs, etc. I could go on and on. Perfect Greek breakfast. If you aren't staying at the hotel it's not a bad price to... More

Many people go for the great views and drinks. You'll pay a little more than the avg Athens prices. It's quite chilled in the afternoon and picks up in the evenings and can be very busy. Enjoy!!

Thank James B

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
