This restaurant is on top of a hotel and has an amazing view of the acropole. The food was great and the price was right. The service was amazing. We were outside as we wanted to enjoy the view, but it was a bit cold. The waitress noticed and offered us blankets, it was great! Loved the experience.

We had the pasta with salmon and a nature dish I can't remember the name of it but it was a good size salmon fillet. very tasty. Staff were pleasant. My complaint would be that we were given an ice bucket with a bottle of water in it. We didn't know there was going to be a charge for it... More

Food is just ok. The Risotto was good. The choice is limited. Standart menu like you can find everywhere. Nothing is typical Greek. And, after dinner we wanted to go on the terrasse for a drink to enjoy the wonderful view to the Acropolis. No, it was not allowed! 3 tables were free! It was 9:30! Only a few clients... More

The drinks are quite pricy, the food isn't that great, but with these views it's definitely worth a visit. If you can get in during the day, the pool is open. Shame it's closed after 7pm :/

We went to Point of View for drinks on a couple of occasions. The 360 degree views of Athens are fabulous and the Acropolis views are amazing. It is much quieter than many of the other rooftop bars and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful too. This is not a luxury venue but it is comfortable and clean. Well... More

We visited the restaurant in early September. The restaurant is at the rooftop of the Dorian hotel. The views of the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum are superb. The service and food were equally wonderful. The appetizers and pasta were delicious. Try the mastic cocktail - a treat in itself.

Just don't choose fresh home made pasta from the menu, because it's not really that :) Otherwise they are very friendly and the view is great!

A great location in Athens on the 12th floor of the Dorian Inn hotel in Piraeus street. Great view on the Acropolis. The food is not exceptional but OK. Choice is limited. Prices are OK, 25€ for appetiser, main dish and dessert.

Sometimes it's as much about the experience as the food. The location takes your breath away and was the early and late evenings entertainment as the lights came up over Athens. Having said that the food was good too supported by great service from the team. This meal was a huge highlight of our trip.

Thank Claire R

Our restaurant is located in the center of Athens, on the 12th floor of Dorian Inn Hotel. It offers a great 360 view of Athens and the nearby islands. You can have dinner all year round admiring the great view of Athens and the islands of the Saronic gulf. During the summer season the pool is open as well!

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
