My daughter's bag was stolen from under her chair, and the waiters were ambivalent at best, and really very abrasive towards us afterwards, which was very odd. On top of that - they had delivered the wrong meal - one that cost three times what we ordered. We've eaten here on and off for more than 20 years, and always... More

At first when I went to this restaurant I didn't think it would have delicious food but I was wrong it was very delicious and foods were on very fair price The most thing I liked about this restaurant was its staff They were really kind and friendly

We were very tired after a long flight and needed to recharge. On the way to our hotel we stopped and asked for directions. The waiter was very helpful so that is why we went back after we checked in. The food was very good and the service friendly!

This place isn't high end, and the food is certainly "meh" compared with some of the other traditional Greek restaurants with their Gyros and Souvlaki drenched in the Ambrosia of Zeus. But the service is nice, and the food is cheap enough. It's like, come here if you just want to get some food, and you don't really care about... More

We were exhausted after day of sightseeing, so stopped here on our walk back to hotel. My husband wanted a gyro and he was not disappointed. Imhad the club sandwhich which also hit the spot. Owner very friendly and we enjoyed conversing with him. He was very helpful and accomodating.

Small cafe offering great meal deals For example meal 3 included one Gyro ( huge and tasty) Greek salad and a beer or soft drink for 9 Euros. Friendly and clean.

If you are looking for fast and delicious Greek food with friendly service go here. Located close to Amalia avenue and the shopping areas it's easy to stop in if you don't want a long wait. Very nice and patient to Americans (us) with many questions. Awesome falafels and great pastries too. We recommend highly.

Arrived in Athens and needed pit stop after long journey from Edinburgh. This place was just what we needed. Generous Greek salad and 'caesar' salad though not the usual- a mustard dressing but still very good. Water and beer and reasonably priced. Rather close to pavement and a lot of fumes from traffic - I would sit closer to cafe.

We checked out of New Hotel and needed a place to eat and hang out for an hour. Nice outside seating with decent food at a very reasonable price, service was fine, food was better than average. Would absolutely come back here again.

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
