I was pleasantly surprised by this venue. Unlike other places at Kolonaki, this is a quiet and artistically styled boutique restaurant with food that tastes homemade and service that feels at home. Cuisine is Greek but with a twist e.g. Yiouvarlakia in a thick lemon sauce, and the deserts are to die for. The cheesecake is highly recommended. I am... More

We took an out-of-town guest to Oikeio for dinner and were very satisfied. The food was great. (Try the yogurt mousse for dessert: "to die for"). Only problem: tables were tiny and the three of us felt very crowded.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, I was invited by some local friends. Very cosy place, good service, excellent food!!! Right in the center of Athens, in Kolonaki area.

A neat little nook in uptown Kolonaki. Stopped in for an early dinner, shared a few plates and left quite happy and satisfied. Service was friendly and staff were well versed in the menu.

Disappointment! How did this place get in the Michelin guide?? Slow service, dirty tablecloth, dull food.

The restaurant was good for someone looking for an old fashioned place with medium Greek food. The staff was excellent and the price a bit above the excepted. Overall it was a nice experience.

It's difficult to try a restaurant when they don't take their time to make sure their hours are posted correctly on TripAdvisor. The lady wasn't that friendly when we specifically walked over to find the restaurant to open at 1PM instead and suggested that they should make the change on Advisor.

Had saturday night dinner with family. We were lucky enough to arrive early (~8pm) and got a table without reservation. A bit later the place was fully packed, so reservation might be a good idea. There is a separate menu for each day, ours contained typical Greek selection. I had excellent rabbit, other dishes were as well very tasty. House... More

Very nice restaurant at a great location. The food was amazing and it was actually the cheapest meal I've had in Athens. My friends and I ordered seabass and we have never tasted it that well.

Stumbled upon this little gem by chance. The setting is sociable and pleasant. No music though. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Service was quick but not rushed. The food portions were generous. We had grilled mushrooms, octopus and a green salad to start. The flavours were delightful and pleasant. The salmon main course was not too heavy and potato... More

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighbourhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighbourhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
