We found this taverna wandering around Chania. We were tired and hungry and the waiter talked us in into staying. The waiter suggested us to take the big fish assorti, but it was expensive for us, so my friend took calmari and I got myself some traditional Greek salad. The salad was very poorly made, pieces were huge and not... More

Nice little place, on one of the more pleasant alleys in Old Town. Food was very fresh and tasty, service was fine.

We ate at Paradosiako twice in two days. On our first visit, my husband ordered lamb, which he enjoyed immensely, and I ordered grilled fish. He had one taste of my fish and was in love. He talked about it all the night and the next morning, so we had to return and order the Seafood Variety for Two. Yes,... More

Excellent Fish Restaurant. We ate here twice and had very good meals on both occasions. The owner is a very witty character and it was amusing watching him entice customers into the premises in a very nice manner. I really enjoyed the fish which, while pricey enough, was very tasty

We discovered this taverna after walking the length of the harbour (avoiding the touts invitations to enter various cafes), we reached the end near to a museum and started to walk up into the back streets. Not two minutes further we decided on Paradosiako. Quiet side street, cool, peaceful and traditional. Service excellent, helpful with genuine welcome. The meals were... More

Situated in a pretty back street this taverna is in a lovely setting. We were not hassled at all to go in, but when we did we were made to feel very welcome. All the tables were full so it must have improved from previous reviews I've read? The food was a little more expensive than most and smaller portions... More

Although they approach you to come in, it's very competitive out there, and that's how they bring in customers. Once seated, George was happy to be of service. I had fresh fish and my partner, a vegetarian, had a veggie platter with things like stuffed tomatoes, and eggplant. It is on a side street, with a view of the harbour,... More

I'm staying a month in an apartment off Theotokopoulou St., so Paradosiako is just a few meters away. I have enjoyed my times there in my first week in Chania very much. The manager, George, and his brother, George, do a fine job. I found the moussaka on the first night exquisite and have found salads and vegetables very good.... More
