Hidden in a ruined building it was just what you want a taverns to be. Food was excellent service was attentive and the setting was a talking point being located in a space between buildings.

The restaurant has perfect location's, in Old Town Chania. The food , ambience and services was great . Thank you so much.
The location was beautiful and peaceful! And the food and service was great! Ordered a variety of meze-dishes and it did not disappoint!:)
We had an ok meal, but so much could be improved. The tables have no decor and could do with a clean; the service was pleasant but not friendly - felt more like they were completing a process; our waiter dropped. Zucchini ball when serving...us but didn’t replace it. Beautiful location though.More
Lovely setting, an inside outside location, very busy when we went but they did their best to get everyone seated as quickly as possible, good food and good service with some live Greek music well worth a visit
Was passing by and stopped by for a quick lunch which was really good. Loads of great mezes at reasonable prices. The service was very hoid. Alsk apart from the food, the Campari Spritz was great!
Wow, the place is amazing, even the food is so nice, tastes and affordable, everyone should try a nice Greek experience. Thxs to my friend for the recommendation, I really appreciate it
Ate here several times during our stay in Chania old town. Tasty food and good service set in a fabulous building/ruin. The live music at the weekend also added to the atmosphere.
Avoid if at all possible. The lamb in olive oil wasn't extrapolated from the menu description - boiled, fatty lamb chunks sat in a pool of tepid olive oil. The live music was good.
Atmospheric and felt authentic with the live Cretian music as an accompaniment to our only average but ample portioned dishes of Tsigariasto Lamb for me and Spaghetti Bolognese for my wife. These were washed down with a ltr. of the house wine. Reasonably priced. No...problems with the speed of service or attitude of the staff that other reviewers have mentioned.More
Not overpriced, and not terribly busy, the food was tasty and quite sufficient. The staff were polite and friendly, so I can recommend this place with a good conscious.
Great venue but that's reallyy all the positive. Staff wasn't very friendly and the service was slow. We had two salads, one didn't taste much at all and the other was drenched in a sweet dressing.
Lovely place....nicely reconstructed....(archeologists from Knossos can learn from here) friendly people....AWESOME FOOD....tasty wine....good prices....good music pretty ads to overall feeling from this place....will not eat anywhere else...
Four of us (two couples) passed by one lunchtime on the search for somewhere to eat and thought this looked really interesting. We browsed the menu before entering to choose a table. It wasn't busy so we had a choice of tables. The setting is...an open our courtyard but there are awnings for occasions when the weather is not so great. We were after more of a meze lunch and there were plenty of tasty options to choose from. The highlight of the dishes was the Bekri Meze - a spicy pork stew which was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and we enjoyed our mezes with red wine and beer. We regretted not going back for an evening meal, going to Tammam instead which in hindsight was a mistake. Next time we would make a beeline for Mesostrato.More
the best restaurant in the old port to eat in the most beautiful courtyard. The yard is an archaeological site
