Very friendly staff and great food. Especially liked the mixed meze platter with a little bit of everthing. Also the fried cheese and gigantic beans. Good range for veggies too.

We decided to try this taverna one night and were so glad we did. It became one of our favourite places to eat in Elounda with an extensive menu and friendly service. We were lucky to get a table each time we went but it always became very busy, so probably advisable to book. We ate here a good few... More

We enjoyed Vacchus where the welcome was warm and generous. We ordered the Tzatziki and the home made ravioli and this was all very tasty. If you are in Elounda for 4 or 5 days this place is worth a visit.

The food and service was very good at the Vachus Taverna. We came in with many children on a very hot August day. Although the high street tourist location, the restaurant was very pleasant, with a family operated attitude. The food was really tasty! Will definitely return.

Everyone is very welcoming, friendly and the first place where all the waiters are happy and joke about. The food has great flavouring and is all home made (no McCains chips here). A great traditional Greek choice. (Easy with a nut allergy)?

Had a lovely meal here recently, everything was fresh and tasty and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our starters and mains. In fact we were all so full we couldn't contemplate a dessert! The staff were all friendly and attentive without being intrusive and best of all no one tried to coax us in. The restaurant had a regular... More

The best Greek food I've ever had. Small and friendly and ridiculously underpriced. Please don't let the prices put you off, the food is incredible.

Traditional Greek food, pleasant staff, and less traditional food for those not wanting Greek, like pizza and pasta. I had homemade pitta, feta and tomato and Greek bread and sesame seed and honey cheese-all delicious and a good value lunch.

We've enjoyed 2 visits here over the course of a week & really enjoyed both. Great food - simple, flavoursome & plentiful. House white a big winner too.
