We walked from the old city which took 30 minutes so we took a taxi back. It was worth it as we had a beautiful table very near the water. The food was great and so was the service.

Yes, why eat Sushi in Crete? Because the cook knows how to do it right and of course he uses local fresh fish. The menu also offers a variety of local fish dishes, so even if you can't live with the idea of Sushi on Crete, it's still well worth eating here. You get top quality for the higher prize... More

An excellent place for a business meal or a romantic dinner. Food is excellent, wine list is big, service is impeccable!!! Mainly sea food is the specialty of the cuisine!

Couldn't believe we only found this on our last night! After overpriced meals in the old town and port, for seriously disappointing food (greek food is a favourite, having been all over Greece), this restaurant ticks all the boxes. Setting, views, food and wine and excellent value! Definitely worth the short walk from town, and journeys from further afield.

Walked from rethymnon town over to this restaurant located right by the crashing waves of the sea. Our table had the most fantastic view . Dinner menu was more upmarket than the usual tavernas and we chose starters of white taramasalata which was very nice plus sausages. For mains we had seafood taglatelli...which was pretty amazing....with fresh seafood. Complimentary ice... More

This place is highly recommeded. We were 3 couples and 6 different starters and 6 different main courses. They were all delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced. We had booked in advance and could nearly touch the sea from our chairs. Good service - loved the place and would go again!

Place is a worth to see. First dishes we choose Sea bass carbaggio and cheese croquettes both were good. As main dishes we took scottish salmon which was a bit dry / over cooked and sea food tagliatelle where there was too much pasta and very few prawns and mussels. Definately best was hot chokolade cake 10 points 😀 Athmosphere... More

Located just outside of Rethimno, literally on the beach, with views on the old Rethimno castle, this restaurant serves delicious fish and seafood. Service was great. This place is on the pricey side, but we had a wonderful lunch here. Don't miss the fish soup, made with water from the sea!

The meal we had at Prima Plora was the best we've had so far in our stay in Crete (and we've had some pretty great food during our stay). From the bread and olive oil, the selection of starters, lovely fresh fish for main and the wine, everything was delicious! We visited with our 9yo son and there were options... More

The place was recommended to us by our host. The restaurant overlooks the sea, but the view and the environment weren't particularly impressive for me. The food was at very high level - obviously using high-quality ingredients and prepared perfectly. Quite a good wine list as well. Found it a bit pricey. Still, would recommend, if you are not on... We strive for what we love in a world that has forgotten the value of food in our lives. A plate of food, eaten in a restaurant or at home, the taste and the quality depends on the raw materials we use. With this as our principle and also that are forthright in any form of mass production of the raw materials, we have come and we have partnerships only with small local producers, who have the same philosophy as us. Our cuisine consists of raw materials without pesticides and fertilizers and from animals grown and fed in nature, as normally required in warehouses and not eating GM foods.
