This was our favourite restaurant by far. Superb choice of food and their house wine is very good. Such a quaint setting with cute tables and chairs around a courtyard. Make sure you ask to sit in the garden as opposed to the ally way where the food is prepared and cooked. Definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant is very cute and pleasant. The staff is polite. Portions are big, which is not the case always in Crete (we had bad experience in Chaina). We had traditional lamb meal - Kleftiko, which was overspiced but the meat was very good and soft. However, I couldn't taste the spcific lamb taste because of the spices which is... More

After reading all good reviews, we decided to have a diner in the loggia taverna for our last night (23/08) Rethymnon. The food was fairly good, the owner was nice, but the service was terrible! The waiter was unfriendly, unhelpful, and unprofessional. And yes, there is a tale behind Imam bayildi! The appetizers and the salads were good, the tourlou-... More

A "hidden" gem in Rethymnon's backstreets. The restaurant is a bit hidden from the main streets, but is well worth a visit. We visited it twice during our week in Rethymnon. A pleasant family-run restaurant, where the focus is as much on customer service as the food - and the food was very good. We had the Greek salad, pork... More

One of the truly best traditional Kretan cuisine restaurant in old town. There was a huge variety of foods to choose from, Kretan to Greek, even Mediterranean. The service was pretty fast, as well as the offered food was delicious. The place is quite good too, cozy but not too overheated in the middle of the summer. The only downside... More

Try the Cretan Salad! It is enough for a meal by itself! We are a group of 5 and had an tastefull experience at Loggia at the backyard. Big portions. They delayed to serve the food but it was a pick time for the restaurant, so we can not really complain. We reccoment it.Do not miss it if you visit Rethimno!... More

We visited here 3 times. Great place. Tried the Greek dishes here and they were great. i love to try the local foods but like to choose a restaurant with good food so that I know that, if I try something unfamiliar, it is of good quality. Would recommend this wholeheartedly.
