What a lovely greek meal. The Greek salad was more than enough and the snails in onions to die for. Rabbit in onion sauce was excellent. We can highly recommend this traditional greek restaurant

Just in front of the local bakery, we found this restaurant. It is very small (but has many tables outside), and offers authentic home-made cuisine. If you like fried food, you will be in heaven ! I tried the meatballs which were very tasty and pleasantly spiced. This is also the place to taste matstata, the local specialty. The staff... More

Very good, home cooking on a quiet square. They served all of the food we ordered at once so sadly our delicious mains were cold by the time we ate our appetizer of perfectly fried calamari. My advice is to not give your whole order at once and then add dishes. The food is well worth a visit, however.

We took the traditional local plate of "Matsata" and we live liked it a lot! The atmosphere was OK. No spectacular views or Greek music here since the restaurant is located in one of the little streets of Folegandros. The clientele was half Greeks and half tourists (some with the necessary dose of pretentiousness and snobbery as in the rest... More

Nice traditional dishes, in a flourish pedestrian road, in the center of Chora. Best fries, great rooster in tomato sauce, a lighter short of matsata. All dishes were delicious. The child menu -with photos- is a great idea!

In the very touristic Chora, this restaurant is one of the most authentic you can find. Lovely placed, they serve only fresh food, especially the famous Matzata, kinda of handmade big spaghetti (very close to what they call "pici" in Siena) served with meatballs, goat, but even with simple tomato sauce (for vegetarians). You know, we are Italians, so very... More

We went for lunch and didn't even eat. Over 60% of the menu was out of stock so there were very limited options. Therefore we got up and left and went somewhere else. It's high season. Restaurants should have the full menu available.

The restaurant is located in the beautiful centre of Chora in a pretty and romantic corner of the village. Kind people will wait for you and serve very good food. Price are ok, a little bit more expensive than other restaurants in Chora but it is worth it! One bad point... they do not accept credit cards

No surprises in the menu (standard Greek cuisine). Food had a homemade quality. Not many tables, good service. Recommended if you want to avoid the noisy part of the village. Prices in the average range (compared with the other restaurants of the island). No dessert offered for free as in most of the other restaurants on the island).
