We loved the food, the service and of course the location. It's next to the archeological museum and every visitor could find it easily. The traditional food could be one of the best I have ever tried. This tavern is a great choice!!!!!

A restaurant that can welcome a group of 30 students and their teachers without a reservation and serve them a delicious lunch without delay is worthy of an enthusiastic recommendation. Conveniently situated across a small stream from the Olympia Museum, the Ambrosia is the perfect retreat after a morning walking around the ancient site and museum: here in the shade... More

Made a booking for this restaurant for a big group of university students. We were the only ones in the restaurant so for our group they had a set menu that we could choose from. There was a lot of variety for a small selection so everyone was able to eat something. The pasta was fantastic and the lamb looked... More

Recommended by the Hotel as more traditional Greek and it delivered. The appetizers were very tasty. The house wine was very tasty as well. Maim course was the best part of the meal. "Giouvetsi" was very tasteful and tender. Sadly could not eT the whole plate as it was a lot and very good. (Picture included)

Located near the Archaeological Museum of the ruins of Olympia, this restaurant offers travelers a host of cuisine which is predominantly Greek. At middle of the day it could get a little crowded here but they do have enough tables to seat quite a number of customers because of they have an Al-Fresco dining area. The food is good.Their gyros... More

Poor service, poor food, over priced. Olympia town is 50m away from museum. Go there for cheaper options if on a TUI excursion.

We went 3 people after visiting the museum. Alt Ambrosio was the fastes way to food. We ordered 3 different dishes, grilled fish, chicken fillet and gyros. The chicken was dry. The grilled fish was ok and the gyros was good. Gyros was the cheapest of the 3 dishes and was by fast best on quality and quantity. I only... More

This place is visited by tourist going to Olympia with tourism agencies. We were by our own and went there because it looks very nice! Unfortunately the staff was not very warm and on top of that... the food was very expensive!!!

Limited menu selection. Quite expensive relative to other tavernas. Speedy service. Portions were plentiful but pretty basic.
