This bakery with some slight Japanese touch is next to the Tivoli, on the other side of the central train station. You cannot miss it and you should defenitly visit it if you need a nice place to have breakfast, brunch, small lunch or a cup of coffee with some pastry. Staff is friendly and efficient, great service. Quite spacious... More

I went here every morning for breakfast when I was staying in Copenhagen, it was close to my hostel and to Central Station. They have a good amount of pastries and even mini ones so you can try different kinds. My favorites were the vanilla custard "danish" (sooooooo good) and the chocolate snegl. The prices are different for stay in... More

We went twice to this place in our 3 days trip to Copenhaguen. We loved the bakery, and the atmosphere and the stablishment story was really nice, with that Japan X Denmark theme. Totally essential if you are visiting the city.

Visited here over Easter break and was very satisfied with the experience. I came in the afternoon around 3 to 4 so many of the pastaries were gone but I was able to share a selection of mini-bites (like the ones you see in some of the pictures). The snacks were delicious and we followed this up with a visit... More

We went here every morning to friendly service and excellent food. We tried the croissants every morning. The chocolate croissants are to die for and the plain one with their home made jam is mouth watering. On top of that they do the best latte I have tasted. Would recommend

We tried Andersen's on our first morning in Copenhagen and wound up coming back two more times. They serve standard European breakfast fare and it's all excellent. We all got the Andersen favorite (roll, butter, cheese, fruit, mini-pastry, and coffee/tea) and gravitated to the Musli bread by the end of the week. All the pastries we tried were great. The... My wife and I are here several times during our trip to Copenhagen. The pastries were delicious. Thebirkes, chokoladkastelnet, spandeurs; all were amazing. I had bacon and eggs pne morning; their bacon is like American bacon and I was in heaven. Their coffee is also good and you get a free refill. The prices are reasonable and the location is... More

This is a great bakery, where you can enjoy a nice pastry and coffee for way lower prices than anywhere in the downtown. It has great location in front of the central station, thus it is easy to spot and get your coffee and pastry before starting walking to the downtown. This place is not crowded but does not offer... Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
