It was my first time at Manzels. We were met by James, very professional and friendly. We just love the place. The different ambiences, rooms, really a cool and elegant place. The food was OK. Lebanese served in a "trendy urban" way (can we go...More

The sweetest, most charming and professional waitress in town is here: Florentina. She's excellent despite the food being mediocre and a feeling of lack of coordination in the kitchen and in management. Undercooked food. Overpriced.

The location is super central. The interior is cool with different themes in the different rooms. We had cocktails with a bit of Lebanese tapas. Then we moved to the restaurant part of the place where we ordered ribs, lamb and tabouleh... the læst being...More

The 9 servings menu was a huge let down, calling a couple of spoonfuls of yoghurt a serving of any kind is just a hoax, on top the wine pairings were plain bad, matching very acidic dishes with equally acidic dry wines is just not...More

My girlfriend took me to celebrate an accomplishment and I liked the place a lot, it is expensive as most restaurants in Copenhagen, but the service is outstanding, the chef made something special for my girlfriend who is vegan, and the food was very tasty....More

The Lebanese cooking was very tasty - but service was exceptionally slow (albeit very kind) and it was quite a pricey dinner in the end.

Manzel was a disappointment to us. We had a three course dinner and the first two servings had four very and too small courses. Moreover we were placed in a room with the lights turned so low that you could hardly see what you eat....More

Dear Gunnar, Thank you for this very helpful feedback. We´re sorry to hear that you found the courses too small. We decided to do a 9 course dinner instead of the normal 3 course dinner, but at the same price, so naturally we had to...More

We visited as part of Copenhagen dining week. The interior design is excellent - a mix of modern with kind of a Lebanese cultural vibe. The entry way is accomodating, and the service greeting very friendly and welcoming. Leading into the main restaraunt is a...More

Manzel translates to "Home " in Arabic. Our style and atmosphere reflects the warmth you experience when entering the home of family or close friends. You always feel welcome, and you can kick back and relax knowing that you will have a wonderful evening. This is the ambiance Manzel wishes to capture every evening. Our cuisine is deeply rooted in traditional Lebanese culinary traditions. Here the spices and the herbs are the stars and all the meat is halal. We cherish a culture where the traditions are upheld, but translated into a contemporary look and expression. We live by the Lebanese way of sharing food - home style dishes that comes to the table fluently throughout the evening, making time for tasting everything. Much like at a family dinner. There are no rules, and we are happy to break the conventional ideas of dining. Manzel is the epitome of a dream. Mikkel Shafi wanted to create a universe where dining is a refined experience, yet warm, personal and unforgettable. Welcome Home...
