The staff is all very friendly. They all gather around to welcome you as you walk in. They even escort you to the bathroom to show you the way and make idle chit chat. I'm a meat and potatoes guy, and a lot of their food is what I would normally call "weird" or "icky," except that everything on the... More

I waited a couple of months to write this review. Mainly because I was still heady from finally ticking this bucket list place off my list but also to see what settled in my mind as fond memories of eating at this iconic place. We managed to secure two places at the communal dining table, which was a very pleasant... More

From the moment we arrived - and the staff came outside to greet us warmly and usher us in this was an amazing experience, and the service was really reflective of their amazing reputation - we felt genuinely welcomed, however the service was not at all formal. We had a warm welcome from everyone who works there as they took... More

Noma is all about perfect raw materials and amazing flavours. Nothing to complain about, nothing that was less than perfect from start to finish. We dined at the shared table and loved the experience to chat with other guests about the food and wine but also to discover who the other guests were. The kitchen tour at the end was... More

Noma is probably the best service I will ever have at any dining establishment. Our waitress and the entire staff were so professional, warm, talented, and smart (they speak like every language). They went above and beyond in every regard. They made a special dish for one of our friends who was a little less adventurous in trying some of... More

Nothing else in the world like Noma. Strong pure tastes, great juice pairing, service on 101%. Great atmosphere. Nothing to critise. There is no other restaurant (I have visited many 3star Michelin restaurant), like Noma. Worth that money. I come back!

If you go to Noma to fill up you belly....wrong place. You go to Noma to have a unique experience, from the first moment you'll arrive you'll be welcomed by a bunch of smiley and happy waiters and waitresses, 14 different nationality working at Noma, these guys interact with customers, they are funny and let you feel pampered but not... Try booking the sharing table so that you have other like minded people to discuss the food. The tasting menu is paired with wines or juices and is compulsory and each choice is terrific. The small plates are so imaginative and beautifully presented. Lots of vegetable and herb dishes and a number of fish dishes but only one dish, marrowbone,... More

I find it difficult to find right words for our dinner experience in Noma. I was expecting good food and wine, but what we got was so much more. We were blown away already at the doorstep when about 30 staff members were greeting us upon arrival. All the dishes were wonderful, including the ants (first time I eat ants),... More

Our cruise started in Copenhagen and some friends recommended Noma. I reserved a table six months in advance and was glad that we did. Other people on our cruise tried to get tables weeks ahead and failed. What awaited us was an intense evening of competing flavor palates that was often overwhelming, but never disappointing. We felt welcomed, as if... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighbourhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
