I read some reviews which warned about the wine. They were right, you can't order a bottle, but a menu. That said, the food and wine were perfectly matched, the ambience was great, service faultless, and it was a thoroughly memorable experience. Never thought Italian...More

A Danish businesspartner of ours promised to take us out some day to a special restaurant, depending on how our mutual businesses would go. And indeed, in three year's time, we got an invitation for dinner at Era Ora. From the website and rumors we...More

The food was presented beautifully and tasted great, but nothing was out of this world. If your going to spend $200 per person, plus wine, there is better in Copenhagen. Most of the other top restaurants also offer you many courses and dazzle you with...More

The best food experience ever, combined with a competence and service that complete the experience. This restaurant is second to none, and even better than Noma, if you ask me.

We enjoyed every minute, but go ready for a big meal. They were very vegetarian friendly, btw. Pricey but worth it for a special lifetime experience.

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

I wouldn't recommend to bring children into era ora. It is a strictly adult restaurant and the sound level get higher and higher as the wine goes

With an emphasis on fresh and authentic ingredients, many of which are sourced directly from Italy’s best producers, the menu of Era Ora is based on simple yet innovative combinations of food with some unexpected elements. The restaurant’s charming location by the canals of Christianshavn, makes it the ideal idyll for al fresco eating, for both business and romantic occasions. In the summer, the daily lunch menu of between 2 and 5 small dishes is served from midday until 2pm in the courtyard. We serve a tasting menu for both lunch and dinner.
