Prior to visiting I read that it was the only Thai restaurant outside of Thailand with a Michelin Star. Quite deservedly so. The flavours are strong in lemongrass, ginger and chilli - expectedly so. What is unexpected is are the delicate wine pairings, the theatricality of the dishes and just the general variance between dishes that fundamentally have the same... More

We went for the early sitting and we were greeted by incredible snacks with were both fun and tasty. We had edible parcels of Cashew and Prawn, Duck Sausage, Chilli Coconut Soup and many more... the highlight however was the incredible banana and coconut desert. The best I have ever had in any restaurant across the world!

Wow-went twice and both experiences did not disappoint. I was in town for business both times and wanted to experience a Michelin star restaurant. Kiin Kiin was rated highly and I was able to make reservations just a couple days in advance. Both times, when we arrived at the restaurant we were first seated downstairs for appetizers and drinks then... More

The food was super nicely made, presented and served. Delicious flavors combined in an interesting way. Unconventional Thai food, great service by the staff as well.

Outstanding experience. Trough the night we tasted so many delicious things. Even though it is not cheap it is for a Michelin experience Value for money,

So came to Copenhagen in Nov for my wife's birthday, and I had made a reservation at Kiin Kiin after reading about it. This has to be one of the most amazing Gastro' experiences that we've had! A Thai Michelin star restaurant are pretty rare, so this was great. We had an 8pm reservation, and left around midnight. The service... More

We were taken to this Michelin star Thai restaurant by a local friend who loves to dine out. I was very skeptical in the first place as we travel to Thailand so often and Thai is our favourite cuisine but to have it in Copenhagen sounded strange. But we were told this restaurant was the first Thai restaurant outside of... More

At Kiin Kiin you get a huge number of small dishes in addition to the menu, ensuring that you really "get around". I enjoyed the experience a lot, and the food was highly creative, but compared to some of the other Michelin restaurants in Copenhagen, I think Kiin Kiin lacked just a little bit in pure taste. Still, it is... More

Tonight was a real disappointment. The food was not good, spiced too heavily, full of msg gloop, and service far too slow. It took 30 minutes to get a drink, and 2 hours and 3 tiny plates of food later, we cancelled the rest of the meal and left.

We dined here in April 2016 with a tour group and had an amazing experience with the staff. The meal was very good and even me being a picky eater I just closed my eyes and tried the delights. Even better was the presentation of the food and drinks with such innovative techniques.

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
