The option of shared platter was excellent from start to finish with copious portions, strong tastes that complemented each other nicely. Excellent beer on tap and friendly efficient service. A place with history that lives for the day!

We were seeking a typical Danish meal and I think this met the brief! We shared a 'sharing platter' for 2 amongst 2 adults and 2 children and found there was plenty. This type of fair relies heavily on meat, fish and bread.... as s non- meat eater not my typical fair but there was herring, salmon and cheese and... More

We had a very warm welcome in this traditional Danish restaurant. The food was excellent and the atmosphere warm and friendly. Puk was also good value for an expensive city. It is easy to find, close to the Christiansborg Palace and a few steps from a bus stop for several routes. Highly recommended.

Popped in for lunch and the food was amazing. Really friendly service, very cosy and the open sandwiches were amazing. Well worth visiting if you're in Copenhagen. Felt very traditional which was a brilliant experience :-)

It had a rustic local feel to it and the winter menu was rich and fulfilling. Great for local cuisine.

Cozy and rustic location with friendly stuff, you can find different kind of very good meat as wel as fish dishes. And the beer is delicious! The bill was a bit expensive but in average with other places in Copenhagen.

We made our way to this little treasure on our first night looking for some danish cuisine. A very cosy, basement style restaurant, the staff are very welcoming and we got a history of the restaurant (one of the oldest in Denmark.) Menu isn't extensive but there is something for most pallets I would say. Perfect if you're visiting in... More

One of the most delicious steaks I've ever had. The server was from NZ/Aus (I think, sorry if wrong) and really welcoming. Joked throughout without being imposing. He didn't have a problem splitting the bill for a largish group on business expenses . 250-300dkk for main meal and beer. Would go back next time I'm back on business.

I highly recommended this place, nice atmosphere...and the food was very tasty!!! is one of the most oldest restaurant of the city, in my opinion a bit difficult to find as the restaurant is in a basement!

Restaurant PUK is a classic and historic Danish restaurant in the very heart of Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen with a history dating back to 1750. Here came the Danish King Christian VII along with his mistress in the late 19th century when they were in town together. You can enjoy all the traditional Danish courses crafted with a blend of respect for tradition and a pride in the art of cooking and the best products from Danish farmers.
