We visited during the first reopening and had a wonderful meal. So glad this place remains open, and so impressed with the efforts they’ve made to keep the place open during the pandemic. They have so much love and respect for their customers, it’s a...delight to come back every time.More

To be fair I have to admit that I am no expert in the North Italian kitchen and therefore may not have understood the concept in this restaurant. We had no reason to complain about the quality of the food we had. The presentation was...nice but the food all seemed to lack flavour and passion . No surprises or interesting new combinations . The wine list is fine and prices absolutely fair. The service is also fine. Our conclusion was that this was just an other dinnerMore

Altopalato used to be something of a neighborhood gem of a restaurant, but somehow the restaurant has gotten lost in the 90-ties and the food - although not bad - seems a bit outdated and unimaginative. Service is good and nothing is actually wrong with...the food, but it just underwhelms when you remember how good it once was.More

Authentic Italian food. Owned by Italians (from Veneto region) who know what they are doing. We invited there our guests for the baptism of our daughter and they were all satisfied. A big thumbs up for Mr. Romano who’s always helped us.

I was there for a conference and was lucky to find a table (you should book it it advance). The food is very good (even for a vegetarian), the wine is excellent and I enjoyed the service. Price is ok for Copenhagen.

Lovely dinner and excellent support with gluten-free choices. Very pleased with both dinner and excellent choices of wine.

The chefs were very accommodating, regarding customers with food allergies, and their creativeness allowed them to produce delicious and beautifully plated dishes regardless of customer dietary limitations. It was clear that the waiter and waitress enjoyed their work, and they attributed to what was a...great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was outstanding. 5 stars.More

During a family visit in Copenhagen we were invited to this Italian restaurant. Nice and clean interior, polite service and interesting meny with many Italian classics but in smaller lighter versions. Interesting offer of the bredbasket, especially nice was the one made with parmesan. In...general dishes was well made, well seasoned but could have been served at bit warmer. Interesting wine offering albeit a bit on the expensive side but I am aware this is Copenhagen. All in all a pleasant and enjoyable eveningMore

I often go with friends and family and it is always a great pleasure. Food is amazing and the staff kind and helpful. The prices are cheap compared to location and the high quality of fresh and good ingredients. Definitely a must try if visiting...or living in Copenhagen. Since it is located a bit further north in Copenhagen and not a “typical tourist trap” it is a place where many locals enjoy a magnificent dinner. I would recommend to book a table before showing up so you are guaranteed a table.More
