Great value for money on Vesterbro. Several of the guests were 'local' and it was clearly run by Thai staff who were very friendly. Quick turnaround and prices were moderate and portions were good size. Clearly a place I will visit once more.

Prix fixe menu was delicious, generous portions. Had coconut milk soup, prawns, spring rolls, cashew chicken, rice, beef red curry, seafood and veggies. Ice cream for dessert was even excellent--two large scoops of chocolate and vanilla. Great service. The food tasted fresh. It was busy by 18:00 but when we visited an hour earlier, we didn't have trouble securing a... More

Visited whilst on business in Copenhagen with 2 colleagues. We all agreed the food and service was very good. I opted for the Chicken Satay to start with followed by Chicken Green Curry. Both dishes were very tasty and ample portions. The curry was served with a large bowl of sticky rice. Will return again if in the area. Was... More

We had been walking all day and were ready for a good plate of hot, tasty foodand that is exactly what we got. Split 3 starters (chicken satay, vegetable spring rolls and tiger prawns) and enjoyed the cold Tiger beer while we waited for our main courses. When we arrived there were maybe half a dozen tables occupied, by halfway... More

Not sure I would return after receiving a black hair sitting between the rice. Too bad, the food tasted okay - just that hair made me want to never return. Specially because the price is not cheap either. Im not one to ask them to take it away when its the same kitchen anyway.

My daughter was craving Thai food and we found this amazing restaurant. The Green Curry was awesome. They will make most dishes vegetarian if you ask. The restaurant atmosphere was great.

Located on the edge of the 'meatpacking' district south of Central Station, Ban Gaw serves a broad menu of Thai food. We had spring roll and chicken satay appetizers before a beef Massaman Curry and Fried Noodle Pad Thai. Without alcohol, the bill was about US $60 and would easily be ample for 3 people. The five pieces of spring... More

This restaurant served some of the best Thai food I've ever had! You can't miss with this menu. Large portions and many options. No wonder all the tables were full. Well worth a visit,or two.

Food is really good, however, the customer service is just pathetic!! The lady who usually in reception (not the one with boys-cut hair), she is just arrogant, no smile on her face & behaves very rudely. She always shows lot of attitude specially to non-Danes. I would never go back to see her attitude and to face such rude behaviour,... More

Most authentic thai food in Copenhagen. Fresh ingredients with a thai spice kick! Wide range of dishes available and stir fries are the bomb!

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
