Outstanding food, fair prices. Hummus is perfection. Portion sizes are satisfying, even for this American.

We were very perplexed when we entered Christiania, it is a strange kind of reality. But this restaurant is a true jem. It is a vegetarian biological place, with a few choices of dishes, not too pricey (50DKK for the soup of the day). Lovely athmosphere, it seems to be in a past without too much modernity and it feels... More

I was so looking forward to eating here after reading all the reviews but was disappointed to find that they were charging 100K for a meal as opposed to the 60K we had got used to elsewhere (and all u can eat!) We ventured on and got a great falafel wrap for 60K in Paper Town market. Given the alleged... More

It’s a small café serving up vegan food and has seating for about 15-20 people. The menu options are limited but have quite generous serving size to be honest. I absolutely loved the soup and the other risedish (yes, that’s how its spelt) that was ordered. They have spices lined up all around the walls of the place and once... More

What a joy to have found this place. After paying so much for eating and drinking in Copenhagen was great to find a place with excellent food at a price we didn't feel robbed paying. They had this amazing Tofu salad which its one of the best I have ever had - and I have eaten a LOT of tofu... More

Popped in for lunch on a Saturday...it was lively and quite busy but we managed to get a little table! Amazing veggie food at a really reasonable price - 100 DKK for a burrito plus two salads of your choice, and the portions were really generous! Much cheaper than other local spots. Really delicious salads too - pasta salad, red... More

Came here after seeing it in a few lists for good veggie food in Copenhagen. It was a really nice, homely place to sit - a bit like being in a friend's house. Reminded me of a couple of "old school" veggie restaurants in the UK (Food for Thought in Covent Garden - sadly no longer with us, or the... More

I visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on TA and I wasn't disappointed. It was dark when we visited so it was quite difficult to locate within Christiania. However, a local shopkeeper steered me in the right direction. I had sweet potato & chick pea bake with 2 types of salad & my friend had a cauliflower curry. The... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighbourhood Profile
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
