Horrible food that used to be great. Last time we ate we all got ill. The rice was old and badly warmed up. Sauces were thin and the chicken was off. Never again.

Worth the value. 89SEK-select 3 warm dishes (curry) accompanied by rice, naan. Sallad, papadum, soup served as buffet. Tea and coffee included also in place at buffet area. The chilli and lime pickles tasted great, authentic flavour. The warm dishes could be little more spicy...with more flavour but probably adapted to local taste. Great staffs. Recommend it.More
If you are arrogant, at least you should have something to boast of. I wanted to introduce a swede friend to indian food and by chance we came across this indian food restaurant. I am not sure, but i got a feeling the staff, at...least this particular man was not indian or thoughtof himself as swede by now Its a very ordinary place, more on cheaper side but expensive food because this may be only indian restaurant around in lund. We went on 22nd sep 2019 evening and ordered palak paneer with boiled rice ( i am vegetarian). Midway thru meal this staff came to me to ask how was food. I said its not paneer. Its processed cheese you have put in. You shouldn't call it palak paneer Its obvious he only wanted to hear praises so he got defensive and started rudely. We make it ourself n started telling me process. I said it wasnt same. He offensively asked " same like in india? " I said " like paneer is and should be anywhere" And palak was also not blended but left as leaves My friend was shocked and felt bad at the way he spoke and even said she didnt like his behavior. I ignored him because he represented only himself..nobody else. In picture, the arched entrance is an old architecture, behind which, in a small part, this restaurant is (besides other using the compound)More
Poor food. The lamb was dry and hard. No spices apart from salt. Deep fried veggie balls tasted of meet from the oil. Confused service.
We ordered a butter chicken, vegetable korma and garlic naan over here. The taste was pretty mild and not that great. On the other hand also not bad. So...just eatable I would say. The naan was bit hard to chew on.
I have tried Spice and Curry twice and I am sorry to say that it has been disappointing. The meat is to dry and it does not meet the sauce. The balti chicken is not like the balti you can find in the UK. This...is sad, because I love Indian food, but not this.More
I was on a trip on Lund and because of my birthday decided to taste something new. Looking for Asian food had good references about this place. The entrance and the aspect are not son promising but the food is great. We ordered a chicken...hot chili and kairi chicken, the chili was really but really but really hot and spicy I loved it was served hot, was really delicious. Every order comes with free rice, as much as you want. The bread is good too! Just baked befor serving so, hot too!! The prices are around 140SEK, worths!! Definitely I would come back!More
I have seen reviews on here saying don't let the location put you off. What I would say is do let it put you off. We chose to sit outside as it was hot and stuffy inside. While outside we were treated to gangs of...youths loitering in what is a dead end alley shouting and spitting close to where we were sat. Once they had moved on we were then lucky enough to see the local wildlife with rats running openly across the alley. One even joined us on the decking area under the table at the side of us. The food was ok but who cares. Steer clear of this place, not an enjoyable experienceMore
Since this restaurent is located at the Lund city centre near Botulsflatsen bus stop, I went there several times with my family and tried almost all halal items. Among the several dishes we tried, madrasi spicy lamb and chicken tonduri with different types of naan...were the best. We were overwhelmed with their caring, timing & hospitality. Based on their overall services, I could recommend you to visit this restaurant and try some real Indian and Bangladeshi delicious cuisines.More
We booked a table online based on other reviews on trip advisor. When we arrived we found the restaurant tucked away down an alleyway very close to the bus station. It didn't look particularly great from the outside and we doubted whether the food would...be good. We nearly didn't go in, but are really glad we did. 3 of us, we ordered 1 chicken korma, I lamb bhuna, 1 sizzling tandoori lamb along with some poppadoms and naan bread. It came with rice, more than enough for 3. The bhuna and korma dishes were fantastic, both described as one of the best they had had. The tandoori lamb, though a bit tough, was certainly packed full of flavour and served sizzling with onion, peppers and tomatoes and a really nice raita. Mango lassi to drink was really delicious - highly recommend it. The service was quick and very friendly. For such an unassuming place from the outside, the food and service were great, if you are hesitant about going in, I'd say don't be. Don't judge the book by its cover.More
I was recommended by a friend and we went together. Tried Beef madras and it was amazingly tasty for the cost of food with naan bread. Would recommend to all friends for sure.
A local friend recommended us this restaurant. As it was Easter, the restaurant was closing earlier and we decided to take the food to take away. The restaurant was quiet and the service very friendly. However, if you plan to eat there, note that you...will smell Indian food! The food quality was good and we enjoyed it. One little drawback is that the menu only exists in swedish (even if the waiters all speak english)...More
During a day in a museum we decided to have lunch in the Lund city centre. My husband suggested indian. Because the other one with good reviews was too far away on such a cold day it was obvious that we tried Spice and curry....It had also good reviews. The venue was surprisingly "low key" but sometimes that's a good sign and brings you to the source of genuine ethnic food. Unfortunately that was not the case this time. The waiter was pretty quiet but polite. It took quite a long time to get the food on the table although there was only one couple there besides us. Naan bread was ok but both of the chicken dishes we tried were really disappointing. Could have had better food at home using just ready-to-use currypaste and coconut milk. We will definitely not be going back there again and will not recommend this place to anyone.More
Best Indian restaurant in Lund city area. Wide range of menu, I tried many of them. its really good test with Indian spices.
This is a truly Indian restaurant, it's friendly, small, simple interiors and the food is just packed with flavor! I had the lamb Rogan Josh and it was just as it tasted in New Delhi. Brought a smile to my face and some very fond...memories, good food does that to you. An absolute must if your a fan of genuine Indian food.More
