Great Korean place for special Korean groups and regular Swedish people. The lunch is quick and good. They have over the years expanded the lunch menu to include also a great Tempura.

Before reviewing, I notice that I'm Korean. Here, it is very disappointing to me. First, it's so expensive even though one side dish. Second, the taste (I ate Kimchi Jjige) is bad. Third, I strongly shocked that the staffs can't speak Korean never. I feel that some staffs look like unkind, and some can't speak English well.

we go there by recommendation of friends. the amount is ok, but a bit too expensive. We should have ordered just one dish with rice. I think that is a better choice than barbecue.

We had the missfortune of having our dinner at the same time as a buss load of Korean people arrived. But the service was still OK a bit slow but understandable. Food was really good and we were very pleased. But the selection of beers was quite poor for beeing a restaurant in Stockholm. How ever it it quite worth... More

Our niece who lived in Seoul took us there. Great food. Popular with locals. Dishes all seemed authentic to the novice, and all were tasty.

We used to eat here quite often about 15 years ago - and loved the Asian tastes, the sushi etc. In May this year, we returned for dinner after going to the cinema opposite, but sadly the tastes were boring and the service rather off-hand. Asked about gluten-free dishes, the head waitress was knowledgeable - there was sushi or tiger... More

We had a late lunch here, as we were not that hungry we shared dumplings as a starter and seafood platter as a main course as well. This was a light meal enough for 2 persons. The food was fresh and tasty. The menu is offering a good choice including dishes which are not always to get. We were sitting... More

I eat lunch at Nam Kang at least twice a month and like the restaurant a lot. In comparison with the nearby "fast food" Asian restaurant Pong at Norrlandsgatan Nam Kang belongs to the more ambitious Asian restaurants in Stockholm. Orders are taken at the table whereas you pay upon leaving the restaurant (don't forget to bring the tab that... More

I was here with a group of friends for the Christmas luncheon table. SEK495 per person excluding drink. The two waitresses that served us were very friendly. First, you get an oyster per person as starter. Followed by a skew of mixed seafoods (a scallop and a shrimp) with vegetables (carrot, onion, mushroom, etc). Then, half lobster, two shrimps, two... Huge plus: as the only restaurant in Stockholm, they serve makgeolli, and it's not even over-priced (for Sweden, obviously). For that they deserve all the praise in the world! A huge minus, on the other hand, is that they mark food containing fish sauce/paste (such as kimchi) as "vegetarian". The staff seems to be Chinese and didn't speak much Swedish,... More
