It was quite empty there, mostly hotel guests around. The food was very good for the price we payed and the waitress was friendly also. In winter time it's a little bit off, that might explain why it was not full. If you want a slient dinner this is a good pick in winter time a big plus for decent... More

This place has hotel and restaurant facility, plus conference .. I have been to cafe many times enjoying the lovely surrounding. It's very close to the water, the walking path and by the other side you find bus stop, no subway near by but lots of greens and water.

Went to Kallhagen for Julbord with no real expectations based on past experience. The location is right on the water and away from the city, good start!. The restaurant was set up nicely with plenty of space between table so now the Julbord. The sill (herring) selection was very good with a lot of tasty choices which continued through the... More

We were a company of eight and had altogether different entrees, mains and desserts and none of us were dissatisfied with what we had to eat, on the contrary we were impressed.

Very good rooms, service is excellent (5+), breakfast is delicious. In winter there is a fire in the welcome place. The best hotel for family and also business trip. About 30 minute walk to city center.

Had lunch here a beautiful summer day in August and the setting and location on a sunny day is just amazing. Talk a walk by the water from town (15 minutes from Djurgårdsbron). The lunch was superb. The starter with spring chicken and chanterelle was simply to die for. Haven't had something that good in a long time! Also the... More

It took a long time to get things ordered and served, and then there were mistakes due to miscommunications between server and kitchen which ended up with free desserts which was appreciated. We also had drinks there but due to the fact that the bartender (outside) needed to get ingredients (inside) it took forever to get a drink. Breakfast was... More

The restaurant is located at the sea, very nice location. Not too big meny, but around 5 starters as 5 main courses to chose from. All dishes presented very nicely and tasted excellent. The restaurant was very noise, not very friendly for business talking. Also servant seems to be little new due to not knowing all different fooditems served.

Good, speedy, tasty lunch. Really nice shrimp salad. Have been before and would go again. Will soon be the perfect weather to sit outside.

Description
The well-reputed restaurant at Villa Källhagen follows the changes of the season. It comes naturally in an environment where water, greenery and sun streams in from every direction. The season's mirrors on the plates as well, we create modern food with Swedish roots and with visions of the future. We also have a wine cellar full of wine from all over the world. Villa Källhagen is always full of life and business, all from the youngsters having a cup of coffee after a walk to the businessmen who wants to enjoy their lunch in a soothing environment. During the warmer seasons, the garden with its view over the Djurgården canal is a favourite place. When it gets cold there is nothing better than to meet a friend over a glass of wine in front of the fire.
