Had Vish Purl's Chicken and there was hardly any meat on it. Mostly bones. Service was so slow that we got our naan bread when we had almost finished our meal.

It was a fantastic Indian restaurant. Fine taste. Very good service. Good location. Though as a solo, they first offered me bar table. On request that was changed to proper dining table. Very good taste and presentation.

Food is fresh and excellent. The waiter will take request on how spicy etc you wish the food. A very polite and smiling middle aged woman served us and helped us throughout the menu. Everything we tasted was great and there was fine beer too. The premises were clear and lovely. If it is sunny day the sun will shine... More

Cosy atmosphere doesn't always do it for me. Food was tasty although I've had better Indian food in Stockholm for under what they charge here. The waitress, an elderly women seemed uninterested and didn't even bother to ask if we enjoyed our meal. Portions were a bit small. Will look elsewhere when the urge for Indian food arises again.

I had visited this restaurant for a dinner and was not disappointed. Taste is good. Rice is charged separately which is a bit odd since the price for curries is a bit high. Service is good and so is the Indian Chai.

Nice environment and quite busy inside. Food looks good, but I've been to better and cheaper indian restaurants in Stockholm. Service is normal. I had a long cook lamb, garlic bread (nam) and mango lassi. Lassi was very well prepared but the glass was very small and full of ice. The restaurant charge the rice separately even though the menu... More

The food was fine but the service was really lousy. An "older" woman attended to our table and apart from being really rude to us she did not come back to ask if we wanted more wine/beer or a dessert after our meal. The are plenty of Indian places in Stockholm so... never again.....

We love Indian cuisine and were walking up Odengatan looking for somewhere new to eat and stopped here. We had Hara Bhara Mirchi and Aloo Tikki appetisers. Both were delicious and well presented. We had Mushroom Rogan and King Prawn Karai main dishes which were also good. Sesame Naan and Pilau rice to top it off. Food was quite tasty... More

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
