Best gelato in town. All-natural, organic ingredients, and even vegan gelato that will satisfy even the most hard-core dairy-loving, meat-eating conservative gelato lover.

To try StikkiNikki is a must when in Stockholm! Homemade and daily fresh ice cream. Creative flavours you never heard of - some of them are vegan. Only real ingredients. Everything is genuine and fun about this place - even the people scooping! <3

Since I am Italian and I love ice-creams, by nature I am very tough in my judgments of ice-creams. I was extremely pleased to discover this ice-cream place in Stockholm: good variety of original tastes, all very good, and very generous portions. Price around the Stockholm average. Very satisfied.

Generous scoop - I ordered peanut butter crunch ice cream and my friend got apple ginger sorbet. Both very very good. Must try!

My husband and I were craving something sweet after dinner and set out to find some ice cream. We ended up at Stikki Nikki's and we were not disappointed!! The scoops are generous and the service is friendly. We had cookies and cream (made with homemade chocolate cookies!) and peanut butter crumb. They were both fantastic, and we're already dreaming... At this ice cream shop you'll receive big scoops. You can select from many flavours here, all of them are homemade. The prices are a bit expensive but not extremly high. Peanut butter was the most delicious for me :)

Best vegan ice cream I have tried. There is often one vegan "gelato" and a couple of sorbets. Hoping to find the vegan hazelnut I had last year again.

Location's great but the gelato was unfortunately underwhelming, with an unpleasant icy texture and too-weak flavors. Scoops were fairly generous. If you're in the vicinity and absolutely craving gelato then it might be worth a shot (don't visit late in the afternoon). If not, consider checking out Stockholms Glasshus near st. eriksplan or King Scoopa near Hornstull.

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighbourhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
