Just what you'd expect from an Irish pub in a foreign country. Cozy and warm with great live music. There is a separate section for seating if you're going to be having a meal, and the cellar section is good if you want a bit of a quitter atmosphere. The food menu is a bit limited, but what you'd expect... More

Nice, clean, well maintained pub with friendly service. We went for drinks. The wife was uncertain as to which beer to pick, and the staff were friendly enough to give her a little beer-tasting of 4-5 different brands until she found her desired one. It's the little things like that which makes all the difference. Be sure to stop by... More

We ended up here after a mix up with the reservations elsewhere. The food was good, the drinks were good and the music was fantastic. A great night for our last night in stockolm. Wish we had found it sooner!

We booked via "The Fork" and on arrival on Saturday evening were greeted by a wall of noise and a tightly-packed crowd, most of whom seemed to be shouting at each other over the loud music. We just couldn't face it, so left & took refuge elsewhere.

Situated in the old town district of Stockholm, We called in to The Liffey to warm up on a cold Sunday morning and for a quick drink. We ended up staying for a few hours! Their hot wings sounded amazing but they didn't have any left so we opted for the fries with bernaise and chipotle mayo - loved it!... More

The best Mayo pub in Stockholm!! Just watch Dublin win the replay and Mayo won in Sweden. Totally wiped out the two Dub supporters. Great service good food and great pints!

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
