Mediteranean and Turkish food. The staff is very effective and the prices are very affordable. I will come back.

Found this place while wandering along the road. Big portions of really tasty food at a good price. I'm a big fan of Turkish food and this was really nicely done. We liked it so much we ended up going back a couple of nights later. I had charcoal grilled chicken, which was lovely

Had dinner here on a recent trip to Stockholm. We had Adana kebab and Ali Nazik. The aubergine puree with the Ali Nazik was particularly good. Nice ambience. Would recommend.

This is the type of place you'd wish you had in you own neighborhood. It does not look like much but it has charm, friendly staff and superb food. We ordered the mixed grill stick and a kebab stick witch they are famous for. And I now understand why. It was excellent! It was so tasty I almost start to... More

I've been here three times this year with groups of ex-colleagues, looking for somewhere to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or two over a leisurely Mediterranean-style meal... and yap about old times. This restaurant fits the bill beautifully: it's not well-known, so you can sit there all evening. It's not expensive and they have GOOD red wine by... More

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighbourhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
