Very popular modern spot. Had the traditional meatballs with potatoes and lingonberries. Tasty for sure. Seemed to be one of the larger restaurants we went to while in Old Town.

Lovely Swedish restaurant with traditional dishes with a twist. We had some lovely cocktails and I would definitely recommend trying these as they had some lovely interesting flavours. I had a cauliflower dish for starters, who knew cauliflower could taste so good! Meatballs for main...More

A fantastic small restaurant with wonderful staff and outstanding food. After our first dinner, we decided return and bring friends two nights later. It was even better than the first time and we can't figure out how that was possible! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Looking for restful weekend in Stockholm, we found this restaurant in Gamla Stan ( the old town ) and this was very successful in all respects, and clearly was very popular with the locals.

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

Here at Tradition we offer you food from the Swedish cuisine as it was originally intended: Featured, uncomplicated high quality ingredients that are prepared with knowledge and care.

The three restaurants all have their own unique menus selected by season and what we think is best at the time in that particular district.
